He Forced Me To Abort Now He Begs Me Back Chapter 03
After I sent the evidence, I moved into the apartment I’d owned before our marriage that same night.
The next day, my joint credit card was declined. I logged into my bank app and saw that every account I shared with Evan had been frozen.
A text from him popped up a moment later.
“Until you learn to look at the bigger picture, the household finances need a cooling-off period. Cooperate with PR, clarify that this was all a misunderstanding, and everything can go back to normal.”
I called my lawyer immediately.
“He froze all our accounts. It’s time for Plan B.”
The cash in my wallet would only last a few days.
Then another text from Evan arrived.
“If you won’t cooperate, I’ll make sure you walk away with nothing in the divorce. Natalie can make sure everyone sees exactly what kind of woman you are. By then, you won’t even have your reputation left.”
I didn’t reply.
My battery was at seven percent. I screenshotted the threatening texts and the account-freeze notice, then compressed and encrypted them along with the harassment evidence from the night before. I sent everything to my lawyer.
At the end of the email, I wrote:
“I need an emergency temporary protective order and a court order to freeze any marital assets he might try to move. Immediately.”
