I Let Her Ruin Herself Chapter 21
In the letter, she once again accused me of controlling her life.
She claimed that because she wouldn’t have me, I hated her, so I deliberately trapped her with Derek through pregnancy and staged the garage arrest.
Just like in my last life, she painted herself as a woman who never had a choice, blaming every misfortune on me.
The difference was that this time, I wasn’t a crippled manager who worked only for her.
The small-time agency she had worked with immediately blasted the letter across multiple platforms to chase clicks.
In less than half an hour, my head of PR asked if I wanted to seek an emergency injunction.
“No.”
I gave my lawyers the medical records from that day and the public judgment from the garage case. My hospital admission time and the surveillance footage proved I wasn’t on the greenway. The garage audio and the weapon proved she had participated in the extortion.
We didn’t argue with Taylor.
My lawyers issued a short statement, attaching a redacted medical timeline and the court records.
“All materials remain on file. Certified copies may be verified through the public court docket.”
Hannah added that final line herself.
