I Survived My Father’s Test And Took His Throne Chapter 11
That same day, Julian went to the Royal Equestrian Center.
The palace was still concealing my “death,” and the men at the training compound had no idea I would never appear again.
They had been drinking, and after waiting for me in vain, they came to the stables in a group to find me.
Before they even stepped through the door, they were already talking about what they had done to me over the past three years.
Julian stood on the other side of a surveillance blind spot and recorded every word.
After that, he pulled vehicle access logs, entry records from the training compound, and payment information from Evelyn’s private accounts.
At last, the truth of what I had endured for three years was fully exposed.
With every sentence Julian spoke, my father’s face lost more color.
By the time he heard that I had slept in a stable, eaten spoiled food from the kitchens, and been sent by Evelyn’s people to the training compound every night, he was swaying on his feet.
“Is all of this true?”
Without waiting for Julian to answer, he turned to Evelyn.
“Back then, we agreed only to suspend Laurel’s status and make her work in the laundry until she got over her arrogance.”
“You were the one who said you were worried the staff would bully her, and you volunteered to manage her living arrangements.”
