They Canceled My Ticket I Canceled Them Chapter 33
Before the liquidation was finalized, Madison made one last attempt to save herself.
She submitted a written statement to Marcus’s lawyer, claiming Marcus had approved every decision.
In response, Marcus submitted the same email records the court had already reviewed.
To mitigate their own losses, Daniel and Tyler each turned over their financial documents to the liquidator.
They no longer protected one another.
In that old four-person group chat, they had all sworn to take care of Madison.
But when it came time to bear real consequences, one by one, they put her name first.
Madison sent me a long email from a new address. The subject line was: *You won.*
In the body, she wrote that she had lost her job, her home, and her friends.
She said that if I was willing to tell the industry association it had all been a misunderstanding, she might still be able to start over.
At the very end, she wrote:
*You have everything now. Why can’t you just let me go?*
I forwarded the email to Legal.
