His Lesson Killed My Mother Now He Will Pay Chapter 47

The hearing was set for seventy-two hours later.

Back in the office, Aisha opened the complaint and spread the attachments across my mother’s old writing desk.

Sloane wasn’t just asking for the system to be taken offline.

She was claiming all institutional subscription revenue belonged to her and demanding compensation for the losses she had suffered after her own courses were shut down.

“Her courses were permanently removed by court order.” I turned to the last page. “And now she’s saying my system copied *her*?”

“Because your system is making money now.”

Aisha tapped the timeline in the complaint.

Sloane had carefully listed the launch dates of her courses, but for the relationship assessment system, she listed only the date it went back online.

She had deliberately left out the words *went back*.

In her version, the system appeared for the first time only after her own courses were banned.

I looked toward the fireproof cabinet against the wall.

My mother’s original handwritten drafts were locked inside.

Aisha followed my gaze.

“The drafts can prove where the idea came from, but she’ll challenge the dates.”

“What about the old system?”

“The platform archive still exists.”

Back when Sloane had tried to paint me as a dangerous personality, the evidence preservation order had protected the consultation records she had accessed, her backend edit history, and her contract attachments.

And those very attachments had proven she had dismantled the old system’s questions, slapped on inflammatory labels, and turned them into paid courses.

I opened the fireproof cabinet.

On top were my mother’s notes. Underneath them sat the same fifty-page evidence list from the first lawsuit.

The thing she wanted to steal had already been documented in her own digital footprint.
