The Stolen Savior: He Loved The Wrong Sister Chapter 05

Camille was the first to rush forward.

She grabbed the collar of Nora’s shirt and yanked it down. The sound of tearing fabric echoed clearly through the living room.

“Everyone, take a look,” Camille said. “This is what a person who blackmails others with private photos looks like.”

The two men who’d come with her joined in, tearing at Nora’s clothes while making crude remarks.

Lucian’s security stood at the door, eyes fixed on the floor. Not one of them stepped forward.

Lucian sat there, finishing his drink sip by sip, without so much as a frown.

Soon, Nora’s clothes hung off her in shreds.

Weeping, she clutched the remaining scraps of fabric to her body. “Stop! Lucian, please, make them stop!”

Lucian set down his glass without even glancing at her. “Take her to the front door.”

This was his lesson—to let everyone present tonight see what happened to a woman who blackmailed others with private photos.

The Hawthorne family was hosting a party that night. The front doors were open, and the steps outside were crowded with guests waiting for their cars. Valets stood right beside them.

The moment Nora was shoved onto the porch, flashes went off everywhere.

“Is that woman drunk?”

“Oh my god, what is she wearing—get a picture.”

“Is that fat pig that desperate for attention? Dressing like that to seduce people?”

Some laughed. Others pushed forward with phones raised, flash after flash. Nora curled up on the steps, clutching her body, her tears nearly run dry.

The Hawthorne PR team released only one statement the next day: “A guest had too much to drink. We have arranged for her to get home safely.”

But those videos spread everywhere overnight.

After what felt like an eternity, the crowd finally dispersed.

Nora dragged herself up from the ground and limped back to the hospital.

Seeing her return, Lucian didn’t apologize. Instead, he looked down at her with cold superiority. “Nora, now you know what it feels like to be publicly humiliated, don’t you?”

“Have you ever thought about what would happen to Camille if you posted those photos online? She’d be humiliated by countless strangers. They wouldn’t just mock her body and her looks—they’d make filthy jokes, spread disgusting rumors, even come after her in real life!”

With that, Lucian stormed out and slammed the door.

Leaving Nora alone with her torn clothes, her battered body, and her uncontrollable sobs.

As a woman who weighed over two hundred pounds, how could she not know what public humiliation felt like?

She had experienced it her entire life.

But Lucian had never truly noticed her. Or maybe he’d noticed and just never cared. That was why he could stand there lecturing her from above, completely indifferent to her suffering and humiliation.

Over the next few days, Nora rested quietly in the hospital.

But the laughter followed her everywhere.

Those videos racked up tens of thousands of shares overnight.

The comments were all the same—”fat pig,” “that fat and still such a slut,” “disgusting.”

Nora had to force herself to shut it all out. She couldn’t listen. She couldn’t look. She couldn’t even think about it.

Otherwise she’d drive herself insane.

During her entire recovery, Lucian didn’t visit her once.

He was her boyfriend, yet he spent every day at Camille’s bedside. Even the nurses couldn’t help commenting. “The patient in Room 143 has the most devoted boyfriend. Flowers, meals, gifts every single day. I heard even the nurses assigned to her get presents.”

“I heard he’s putting on a drone light show for his girlfriend tonight. So romantic.”

Hearing this, Nora let out a bitter laugh.

Camille’s room number was 143.

One-four-three. I Love You. Like some kind of hidden confession.

Unlike her—so worthless. Lucian had never even told her he liked her. She’d just given herself to him like a fool.

The light show that night was indeed romantic. Expensive drones painted a sea of roses across the night sky.

Too bad that dreamlike sea of roses didn’t belong to Nora.

The love Lucian gave her was nothing but a cruel joke.

Once her injuries had mostly healed, Nora checked out of the hospital.

Lucian called, saying he’d come pick her up. But Nora didn’t want to see him anymore. She coldly refused. “No need. I’ll get back on my own.”

Then she hung up before he could respond.

Nora called a car back to the Hawthorne estate. She wanted to pack her things and move out.

But when she got home, she found Camille in the kitchen, whispering furtively with the old housekeeper Camille’s mother had left behind.

“That fat pig Nora is getting out of the hospital soon,” Camille said. “Once she’s out, same as always. Put this into her meals, three times a day.”

“This stuff is packed with hormones that make you gain weight. One pill a day and you’d pack on pounds just drinking water. You give her three a day. I want Nora so fat she can’t even walk.”
