The Stolen Savior: He Loved The Wrong Sister Chapter 19

Nora’s coldness carved into Lucian’s chest like a knife.

The old Nora had loved him so much. She’d been willing to abandon her principles for him, to give up everything.

Now, all that remained in her eyes was indifference.

Lucian took a deep breath. Despite Nora’s obvious rejection, he shamelessly sat down beside her.

“Nora, I know you’re angry,” Lucian said. “But I’m not giving up on you that easily. Whether you admit it or not, you’re my woman. You’re mine. No one’s changing that.”

Nora kept her earbuds in, pretending she couldn’t hear a word, refusing to even spare him a sideways glance.

But Lucian knew she’d heard him.

Because whenever Nora was nervous, she’d unconsciously fiddle with the hem of her shirt. And right now, her left hand was gripping her hem.

That adorable little habit made the corner of Lucian’s mouth lift.

He’d actually noticed many of Nora’s endearing quirks.

She always spoke gently. Her balance wasn’t great, so she’d instinctively hold onto whoever was beside her when going down stairs. She was thoughtful, always mindful of everyone’s feelings. When she was upset, she wouldn’t yell—she’d just lower her head and go quiet.

Lucian had memorized all these habits even when Nora was heavy.

But back then, Camille bad-mouthed Nora to him almost daily, so he’d inevitably developed some aversion to her.

Now that the truth was out, all of Camille’s smears had collapsed.

And the more Lucian looked at Nora, the more endearing he found her.

He wouldn’t let go. He’d win her back no matter what.
