The Stolen Savior: He Loved The Wrong Sister Chapter 24

He was talking about the most remote rehabilitation facility in the countryside. No internet. No cars. The nearest town an hour away.

He hadn’t handled the paperwork himself—her father had signed it personally. And Camille knew that better than anyone.

Camille’s face went livid. “No! Lucian, I’m the one who saved Snowball ten years ago. You can’t do this to me!”

“Nora’s lying to you! Don’t believe her! She’s a liar!”

Lucian let out a cold laugh. “Speaking of lying, my investigators also found that you told a lie that got Nora’s uncle branded as a child molester, and it drove Nora’s mother to cough up blood and die.”

Camille’s body went rigid, her expression turning to terror.

“I didn’t lie. Nora’s uncle is a disgusting child predator! He molested me when I was little. My body and mind have been deeply traumatized!”

Faced with Camille’s denials, Lucian’s eyes held only disgust. “Camille, your shamelessness is genuinely astounding. Even now, you’re still lying.”

“I believe Nora’s uncle is an honorable man. He would never have done what you described. So the only explanation is that you’ve lied so much you’ve started believing your own stories.”

“Since you’re so good at making things up, I’ll send every one of your fabrications to the police, to your school’s disciplinary committee, and to the circles you’ve fought so hard to break into. Let them all hear exactly what kind of person you are.”

Camille’s face turned ashen. She let out a desperate scream. “No! No! You can’t turn those in! You can’t—”

“Lucian, I love you! I love you so much! How could you do this to me?”
