The Wedding Game That Cost Him Everything Chapter 12

Standing nearby were Tucker’s ashen-faced parents and people from the Bellandi Family.

Blocked outside the doors were the Ferraro outer-circle men Sloane had brought with her.

Their original plan had been to play Price the Vows one more time.

Only this time, the new wedding dress on stage, meant to be torn apart, had been prepared for Sloane.

“Tucker! Get over here and help me!”

Sloane shrieked.

Tucker instinctively took a step forward.

His mother lifted a hand and stopped him.

“Isn’t Sloane getting beaten by Sierra exactly what she deserves?”

Tucker’s throat tightened.

She was right.

Before he met Isolde, his family had introduced him to a girl who studied dance. Her name was Sierra.

That meeting had been both a blind date and the first step in testing a possible alliance between their two Families.

They weren’t even dating then, and Sloane had already decided to get playful.

She had said she wanted to see whether people who studied dance really did have exceptionally quick reflexes.

So she drove her car straight at Sierra, who had no warning at all.

Sierra lost a leg.

Later, she left the country and never again accepted Tucker’s apologies.
