You Told Me To Walk So I Walked Right Out Of Your Lives Chapter 16

Sofia’s face twisted in a snarl.

“The first time was you, too! You led the police to our location and got us exposed!”

“You ruined us! All of us! Ah—”

A sharp slap cut her off.

Sofia froze, looking at Ronan in disbelief.

“Ronan… you hit me?”

Ronan’s chest heaved.

The next second, he seemed to crumble, clutching his head in his hands.

“God… what kind of person have I been calling my sister all these years?”

“What have I done? What have we all done?”

My parents’ faces were ashen.

They looked at me, their voices trembling.

“Amaris… we’re sorry… We’re so, so sorry…”

I nodded.

“I heard you.”

But I would not forgive them.

Everyone was taken away quickly.

I went along to give my statement.

When it was all over, a Ferrari was parked outside the police station.

As soon as the car door opened, a familiar figure rushed toward me and nearly knocked me over.

“I’m so sorry! It’s all my fault! I shouldn’t have made the driver take me home! This is all my fault!”

Miller walked over and smacked Leo on the head.

“You brat! It’s a good thing Amaris and I had already planned this. Otherwise, she might not have made it back this time. Go home and think about what you’ve done.”

Leo looked at me, his eyes red.

“I will. As long as you’ll forgive me.”
