“You never cashed any of them?”
“No.”
“Then why did he send ten times the amount?”

That same day, my lawyer sent Colton a demand for correction.
The attachment contained no argument.
Only the ledger, proof of the cashier’s check status, and the full chat history from “Second Wife Playbook.”
He was given twenty-four hours.
He could take down the photo and publicly admit that I had never accepted any money from the Holloway family.
Or, every attachment would be released along with a formal statement from my attorney.
Colton exploded in the family group chat.
[She’s threatening us with our own chat logs now?]
A reply came almost immediately.
[She didn’t write them. We did.]
Colton kicked that person out of the group.
Before he could send a second message, Grant appeared.
[The documents are real.]
[Maya did not cash any check I gave her, nor did she take the house, the shares, or any other compensation.]
Colton replied at once:
[You’re really going to let the whole family lose face over her?]
Grant answered with only one line.
[She was never the one who brought shame on this family.]
Half an hour later, not only had Colton refused to delete the photo, but he had started a livestream.

“That was just us joking around.”
