She Stole My Fiancé So I Married The Prince Chapter 07

He only needed one look for all the color to drain from his face.

The candidate field clearly read: Isabella Parker.

“That’s impossible.”

He clenched the document so hard his knuckles turned white.

“I saw you fill it out with my own eyes that day.”

Halfway through the sentence, the truth dawned on him.

“Camille, you lied to me. That day, you didn’t write your own name.”

I didn’t answer. Taking advantage of his shock, I slipped into the royal vehicle.

In my previous life, I really had loved Adrian.

Even when he wouldn’t look at me, I kept going back—guessing what he liked, flattering his friends, trying again and again to win him over.

When he left with Isabella on our wedding day, I still stayed behind in Eastmere, took care of his mother, shouldered all his responsibilities, and worked myself to death.

This time, he wouldn’t have to run from the wedding.

I rolled down the window and gave them one last look.

“I wish you and Isabella a successful alliance.”

“And I wish Alpha Gerald and Luna Marianne everything they ever wanted.”

“From now on, let’s never see each other again.”

My parents and Adrian surged toward the convoy, only to be stopped by the Royal Guard.

I watched them disappear in the rearview mirror and felt nothing but relief.

Once we reached the northern highway, Prince Rowan passed a bank card back to me from the front seat.

“You don’t need to accompany a disinherited prince to the most dangerous defense district in the kingdom.”

“There’s enough money here for you to settle in any Pack in the South. At the next rest stop, you can switch cars and leave.”

I pushed the card back into his hand and pointed at the snow-capped mountains slowly rising in the distance.

“Your Highness, you’re mistaken.”

“The North is my home.”

I looked at him and smiled, a real smile for the first time.

“And once we get to Northreach, we’ll see who ends up relying on whom.”
