Body Checked By My Straight Captain Chapter 10

Body Checked By My Straight Captain Chapter 10

By the time we get back on the bus, I’ve almost convinced myself I can survive the rest of the ride. Almost.

I head straight for my old seat by the window. Connor is a few steps behind me.

Then Jace drops into the seat beside mine first.

My stomach sinks when he stretches his legs out like he owns the row.

“Just spreading the team spirit, Prince.”

I shove my shoulder against his. “Move.”

“Nope.” Jace grins.

I look past him to see that Connor has stopped in the aisle, right next to us. His eyes flick from Jace to me.

“There are other seats.” Jace doesn’t bother to look up at Connor, keeping his eyes on me.

Connor’s jaw tightens. Then someone calls his name. He looks at me one more time before dropping into the empty seat on the other side of the aisle.

I hate how much it feels like being abandoned.

Jace leans closer. His hair brushes my neck. “You look disappointed.”

“Shut up.”

“Thought you liked being told what to do.”

Heat slams into my face, and I turn toward the window so he can’t see it.

Big mistake. Now his mouth is right beside my ear.

“You were very obedient earlier.”

“Jace.”

His hand closes around my wrist. My pulse jumps.

“What are you doing?”

“Answering your question.”

“What question?”

What do you want?

His fingers slide down into my palm.

Then he takes my hand and presses it firmly against the front of his pants.

Hard. My breath catches.

Jace watches my face.

I should pull away.

His mouth curves.

“You felt what Connor wanted from you.”

He presses my hand harder against him.

“Now you know what I want.”

I finally look up. Across the aisle, Connor is staring straight at us.

Jace notices. His smile turns wicked.

Then he whispers—

“Why should Cap be the only one who gets a piece of you?”
