My Mafia Husband Shared Our Sex Tape For A Bet So I Found A Deadlier Don Chapter 09

The Moretti Declaration of War

I walked through the front door of the Moretti estate with one suitcase and the clothes on my back.

Mom saw me first. Her smile vanished when she saw my face—the hollowed cheeks, the dark circles, the way I held my left arm close to my body.

“Bianca? Baby, what—”

Dante came around the corner. His smile vanished.

“What happened.” Not a question. A demand.

I opened my mouth, but my chin trembled. And then I was crying—ugly, heaving sobs I’d been holding back for thirty days.

Mom caught me. Dad stood up from his chair. Dante crossed the room in three strides.

“Who?” His voice was flat. Deadly quiet.

I told them everything.

The video. The bets. The roses. Mia crawling out from under his desk. The slaps I took while guards held me down. The blade in the dark. The baby I’d carried for four weeks and chose to give up because I couldn’t bear to keep any part of Lorenzo inside me.

Mom cried into Dad’s chest. Her hands shook so badly she couldn’t hold her tea.

Dante didn’t cry. He went very, very still.

Then he reached over and gently pulled up my sleeve.

Three scars. Pink and raised. Still healing.

No one spoke.

Dad picked up his phone. His voice was hard.

“Starting now, cut every Rossi deal. Pull our money. Freeze what we can. Every piece of territory we share—we take it back tonight.”

He looked at me.

“No one touches my daughter and walks away untouched. Not in this city. Not in this life.”

Dante’s jaw flexed. “I want his hands. The ones that held the knife.”

“You’ll get them,” Dad said. “But business first. We cripple the family, then we deal with the man.”

Within twenty-four hours, the Rossi empire started losing money and power fast. Contracts dissolved. Shipments rerouted. Partners jumped ship. The financial damage was massive—and it was only the beginning.

That evening, a black car pulled up to our gates.

The Senior Donna.

She came alone. No guards. No lawyers.

Mom and Dad received her in the study. I stood at the top of the stairs, listening.

“I’m not here to defend my son.” Her voice carried up clearly. “What he did is impossible to defend. I raised him better. I failed.”

No one answered.

“I’ve brought an offer. I’m not asking Bianca to take him back. Her decision is final, and I respect it. But if our families continue to destroy each other, the only ones who benefit are our enemies.”

She placed documents on the table.

“Thirty-five percent of Rossi Holdings goes directly to Bianca. And Lorenzo will be removed from all leadership positions, effective tonight. He’s out. Permanently.”

Dad studied the papers and said nothing.

Dante spoke first. “And him? What happens to him?”

The Donna looked at my brother. Her expression was unreadable.

“Whatever you decide to do to him—I won’t interfere. Consider it his punishment.”

No one answered for a moment.

Then Dad nodded once.

The Donna turned to leave. At the door, she paused.

“Tell Bianca… I’m sorry. For all of it. She deserved so much better than what my son became.”

After she left, I went downstairs.

Dante was standing by the window, arms crossed, staring at nothing.

“I’m leaving,” I said. “Not forever. I just need to be somewhere he can’t reach me.”

Dante looked at me for a long time. Then he nodded.

“I know a place. I have someone there who’ll keep you safe.”

“I don’t need a babysitter, Dante.”

He almost smiled. Almost.

“You’ll like him. He’s nothing like Lorenzo.”

I didn’t argue. I was too tired.

Two days later, I was on a plane to London. Behind me, the Rossi empire was falling apart. Lorenzo had lost his title, his position, and his power.

And somewhere in that wreckage, I knew he’d finally found my message on the shoe rack.

I hoped it destroyed him the way he destroyed me.
