My Mafia Husband Shared Our Sex Tape For A Bet So I Found A Deadlier Don Chapter 10

Three Stabs for Atonement

Lorenzo appeared at the Moretti gates two days later.

He looked half-dead. Dark circles sat under his eyes. His clothes hung loose on him. He looked like he hadn’t eaten or slept in days.

Behind him, Mia knelt on the gravel, hands bound, face swollen beyond recognition. Her hair was matted with dried blood. She hadn’t stopped whimpering since Lorenzo dragged her out of the car.

The old security guard—the one who’d watched me and Lorenzo grow up together—stared at him through the iron bars. His face was hard.

“She’s not here, Mr. Rossi.”

“I know.” Lorenzo’s voice sounded raw. “I’m not here for her. I’m here to pay.”

He shoved Mia forward. She collapsed face-first onto the gravel, too weak to catch herself.

“Take her. Do whatever you want with her. Whatever she did to Bianca—return it. Every last piece.”

The gates didn’t open.

Lorenzo stood there. Waiting. Minutes passed.

Then Dante walked out.

Unhurried. Hands in his pockets. He looked at Mia with open disgust.

“Take her inside,” he said to the guards. “Give her back everything she gave my sister. Don’t rush it.”

The guards dragged Mia away. She screamed until a heavy door slammed shut.

Dante turned to Lorenzo.

Neither of them spoke for a moment.

Then Dante smiled coldly.

“So. You want my sister’s forgiveness.”

Lorenzo’s jaw flexed. “I’ll do anything.”

“Anything.” Dante repeated the word, not believing him. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a blade—short, dull, rusted at the edges. He tossed it at Lorenzo’s feet.

It clattered against the stone.

“She had three cuts,” Dante said. “Pay them back.”

Lorenzo didn’t hesitate. He bent down, picked up the blade, and drove it into his own thigh.

His body jerked. A choked groan ripped from his throat. His guards lunged forward—

“STAY BACK.” Lorenzo snapped.

They froze.

Dante watched without moving. Then he raised one hand. *Continue.*

Lorenzo yanked the blade free. Blood sprayed across the white stone. He moved it to his stomach and stabbed down.

He let out a broken groan.

Dante didn’t flinch. “One more.”

Lorenzo was shaking hard now. Blood pooled beneath him, spreading fast, soaking through his expensive coat.

He looked past Dante, up at the second-floor window.

My window.

I stood there, looking down. Our eyes met across the distance.

His lips moved. No sound came out. But I could read them.

*I’m sorry.*

Then he pulled the blade from his stomach and plunged it in again.

The third strike.

He collapsed face-first onto the driveway. His body jerked once, twice, then went still.

I looked at him. At the blood spreading beneath him across the driveway.

I felt nothing.

I reached up and pulled the curtains closed.

Behind the curtain, I heard Dante say, “Get him off our property. If he comes back, let him bleed.” Then he came upstairs and told me, “Pack a bag. You’re leaving tonight.”
