He Locked Me Out Now He’s Begging Me Back Chapter 51

Three hours after the legal letter was delivered, the post came down.

But Tessa did not issue a correction.

Instead, she made a new post.

“Under threat of legal action, I have no choice but to remain silent. Some people have more money and more resources, and ordinary mothers don’t get to have a voice.”

She didn’t use my name this time, but she kept the old photo of the house.

The comments filled quickly.

“Is this still about your stepmother?”

Tessa replied with a crying emoji.

When my lawyer forwarded it to me, I was in the office reviewing launch checklists.

“She has not complied with the demands in the letter.”

I stared at the old house in the photo.

The curtains in that image were the ones Tessa had changed without asking. My father’s bookshelf sat just outside the frame, on the lawn.

She had once used that same photo to announce she was finally home.

Now she was using it again to prove she had been thrown out.

I opened Nextdoor.

It was the first time I had responded publicly since everything began.

I did not write a long explanation. I posted only five images, with private information redacted.

The first showed the purchase records proving I had paid the majority of the down payment and mortgage.

The second showed my guest access countdown.

The third showed Daniel’s ten-month residence commitment, signed without my knowledge.
