He Scorned My Love Now He Watches My Rise Chapter 03
Before boarding, I arranged for a courier to deliver the boxes I’d packed to the club where Colton was.
Half an hour later, someone posted an unboxing video in the group chat.
The scarf Colton had given me, the stuffed animal, the keychain, and the cards he’d written me were all inside.
At the bottom was an itemized list.
Over the past three years, I had kept a record of everything Colton had paid for—meals, trips, housing.
After subtracting my own contributions, the total came to eighteen thousand, nine hundred and sixty dollars.
I transferred the money to his account instantly. Not a dollar short.
In the video, someone picked up the list, laughing so hard they could barely breathe.
“What is this? Is she paying herself a salary?”
“Three years and it’s only eighteen grand? Does she think she took a huge loss?”
“No wonder she canceled the claim and left. Turns out she just thought the price wasn’t right.”
Another person held up the old scarf.
“She even mailed this junk back. What kind of statement is she trying to make?”
“That’s what people who’ve never had anything are like. They keep receipts for everything.”
Bianca snatched the list away and skimmed it.
