He Scorned My Love Now He Watches My Rise Chapter 13
Bianca choked on her words.
“We didn’t know her mother was really sick.”
“She told you.”
Colton looked at the others.
“Which one of you didn’t see the medical bill and the healer’s signature she posted in the group chat?”
Several of his friends avoided his gaze.
Back then, I had sent the bill into the group and begged them to stop using that kind of thing as a joke.
Bianca had said photos and signatures could be faked.
Colton had believed her.
Now that bill—the one everyone had laughed at—was undeniable proof.
Someone finally spoke up.
“Bianca, did you do it on purpose back then?”
“What do you mean, on purpose? Didn’t you all laugh, too?”
“But you were the one who started it. Every time.”
“That’s because she was pretending!”
Bianca’s voice rose sharply.
“She had no money and no backing, but she walked around acting like she didn’t care about Alpha blood or the Luna title. Who was that performance for?”
“If I hadn’t exposed her, you all would have really thought she was some kind of saint.”
The room fell silent.
Bianca seemed to realize she had said too much and hurried to add, “What I mean is, I was afraid Colt was being fooled.”
Colton looked at her.
“You were afraid I was being fooled, so even after you knew the watch was bought with her savings, you still said she wanted a sports car in return?”
“I just couldn’t stand the way she acted!”
Bianca slammed her bag on the table.
“Why should she get to be like that?”
“She doesn’t have a high-ranking bloodline or family support. But every time you got drunk, the name you called was hers.”
“I’ve been by your side all these years. When have you ever cared about me like that?”
No one said a word.
All those so-called tests finally had an answer.
Bianca had never been particularly perceptive.
She had just wanted to force me into becoming the person she kept accusing me of being.
Colton took out his phone, transferred ownership of the group chat to his assistant, and then removed Bianca from every one of their private groups.
“From now on, don’t show your face in front of me again.”
Bianca looked at him, her eyes red.
“Colton, you’re turning on me because of her?”
“Not because of her.”
He looked straight at her and said each word with cold clarity.
“I’m only now seeing how disgusting you really are.”
