At My Wedding The Ring Fit My Sister Chapter 07

Adrian’s body swayed violently—he nearly lost his footing.

His eyes were filled with disbelief.

“I already agreed to marry you. You threw away our first child over a little mood swing?”

I laughed.

“Of course. You were so worried about him being born without a father. So worried that no one would want me if I were pregnant and alone. So I solved the problem for you.”

“What’s wrong with getting rid of it?”

Adrian was white as a sheet.

He lost control and screamed at me: “You’re insane! Because of a few words from me, you got rid of the baby? That was our first child! That’s my blood!”

“Why can’t you just go through with the wedding like you’re supposed to?”

“We’ve been together ten years. Ten years—does that mean nothing to you?”

“If we’d just gotten married and had the baby, my heart would’ve come back to you and the child eventually. How can you be this stupid? This emotional? You just went and did it without a word?”

Disgust surfaced openly on my face.

“Who wants your heart? Adrian, I have zero interest in bearing someone else’s illegitimate child.”

“The ceremony for me, the certificate for her. The nerve it took you to say that.”

“The only stupid one here is you. Stupid and arrogant. What made you think a baby would make me submit?”

My father grabbed at me, trying to drag me away.

“Shut your mouth! Get back inside! Get behind closed doors—I’ll beat you to death!”

I lifted my chin.

“Try touching me. Dad.”

I looked at him with a sweet smile.

“I almost forgot about you. You’ve been the best at staying invisible. You knew everything from the start, didn’t you? You turned a blind eye and let everyone trample me.”

“As long as it didn’t hurt your interests, you didn’t care one bit. Now that your reputation’s on the line, suddenly it stings?”

I looked him dead in the eye, daring him.

“This banquet hall is rigged with dozens of cameras. Everything is being livestreamed right now.”

“The moment I receive even the slightest physical threat, someone will call the police for me.”

“Don’t believe me? Try it.”

My father’s hand stopped mid-air.

His face went ashen as he looked around the room.

Plenty of guests below had their phones out, recording.

As for where the livestream cameras were hidden—he had no way of knowing.

He slowly lowered his hand, looking at me with an expression both complex and dark. “You really are my good daughter. Cold enough. Ruthless enough.”

I returned it lightly. “I can’t compare to you.”
