Drain My Mafia Husband Dry With His Seven Mistresses Chapter 01
The Eighth One
When Dominic brought home his eighth mistress, I was playing poker with the other seven.
He tossed a stack of divorce papers in my face, impatient as always. “Mia is the only woman I’ve ever truly loved. She’s the one who deserves to be my wife. If the rest of you want to keep living under this roof, you answer to her.”
He wanted me to kneel and serve Mia like a maid. The rest of them too. Fetch her things, wait on her hand and foot, treat her like the new queen of this house.
We went by numbers. The order he brought us home.
I was the wife. The Donna. They came after. Number Two to Number Eight.
The new girl should be Number Nine, but Dominic called her Mia.
Number Two scoffed. “He said the exact same thing when he brought me home.”
Number Three nodded. Number Four started crying, saying she wanted to leave.
The other four just stared at me, waiting.
I drew my last card.
A perfect hand.
Thinking of the drama act of my past life, I smiled. “Then let’s all leave together. We’ve bled him dry anyway.”
The second I said it, all seven of them jumped into action.
Bags were packed. Closets emptied. Safes cracked open. Within the hour, that massive estate was stripped clean.
When Dominic came back and saw the bare walls, he frowned. “Scarlett, what kind of game are you playing now?”
I didn’t even look up. I was checking the item list on my phone. “Making room for your new sweetheart, obviously.”
This latest girl Dominic dragged home was someone I’d once helped off the streets. Paid for her education. Put food on her table.
And now, here she was.
Small talent, big attitude. She’d taken over my bedroom, ripped out my roses, smashed Number Two’s computer, broken Number Three’s surgical instruments, and killed Number Four’s goldfish.
I couldn’t live with someone like that.
So instead of swallowing my pride, I decided to take the money and run.
Dominic, clueless as ever, nodded. His eyes even softened a little. “You’ve always been so generous, Scarlett. I know this is unfair to you. Let me transfer five million to your account as compensation. Whatever else you want, just say the word.”
He looked at me, waiting for me to tear up and whisper, “I don’t want anything. I just want to stay by your side.”
But I stared at the new zeros in my bank balance and barely kept myself from grinning.
Second time around, I already knew Dominic Greyson couldn’t be relied on.
A man’s promises mean nothing. The only thing that guarantees my future is a bank account he can’t touch.
I took a breath and kept my voice steady. “I’ve already signed the papers. Number Two is getting the divorce finalized as we speak. Don’t worry. None of us will stop your happiness with Mia.”
Dominic paused. Something flickered in his eyes. “You’re not even a little upset?”
I raised an eyebrow and let a cold smile curl my lips.
Upset? That was a past life.
Dominic Greyson was a man who couldn’t keep it in his pants.
He brought Number Two home from a business trip.
He picked up Number Three during a hospital stay.
He fell in love with Number Four on a movie set because she reminded him of me.
He got charmed by Number Five when she was the opposing lawyer in a case.
Then he scooped up Number Six, Number Seven, and Number Eight during a trip with me.
Every single time, he called it true love.
Every single time, it lasted less than six months before the next one showed up.
And every single time, he’d say the same thing: “Scarlett, don’t worry. We grew up together. What we have is deeper than anything. You’re the woman Grandpa chose for this Family. No one can ever take your place as my Donna.”
As the most powerful Don in the city, he could certainly afford to keep us all. That was never the issue.
But in this life, I refused to be the woman who managed his harem.
And those seven women he’d dragged into this mess deserved to have their own names.
