He Forced Me To Abort Now He Begs Me Back Chapter 05

The next morning, Natalie went live again.

Her face was pale, her eyes swollen and red. Speaking to thousands of viewers, she choked out, “Leah ran away from home. Mason keeps asking if he did something wrong. What she’s doing is affecting his emotional state and his treatment.”

The comments flew by.

“How does a woman like that deserve to be a mother?”

“Find her!”

“Support Natalie! Save her son!”

Natalie wiped at her tears, her voice growing more tragic. “Leah, if you’re watching, please come back before it’s too late. Don’t destroy a family, and don’t destroy Mason’s chance to live, just for an embryo that hasn’t even fully formed.”

I sat at my dining table, watching her performance in calm silence as my screen recorder ran.

Then my phone rang.

My lawyer was nearly breathless with excitement. “Leah, the judge just signed the temporary protective order! Natalie is prohibited from contacting you in any way or mentioning you on public platforms. GoFundMe has been ordered to freeze the fundraiser immediately for suspected false representation. The sheriff’s deputies are on their way to serve her right now!”

I stared at the livestream on my screen.

“Pull up her live feed.”

There was a pause on the other end of the line, then a click.

Natalie was right in the middle of her most emotional appeal when her doorbell rang.

She paused, ignored it, and kept talking. “A real mother would never—”

The bell rang again, more insistent this time.

A few seconds later, two sheriff’s deputies appeared on camera.

Natalie, tears still wet on her cheeks, froze.

One of them asked in a firm voice, “Are you Natalie Price?”

“Y-yes. That’s me.”

“We’re here to serve you with a court order.”

“What order? I’m in the middle of a livestream—”

The deputy handed her the papers.

Thousands of viewers watched as she looked down. The second she saw the title on the document, the grief on her face dissolved into pure panic.

*Temporary Civil Protection Order.*

Her hand started to shake.

The next second, the livestream feed was abruptly cut off.
