He Left Me For My Sister Now He Begs For Me Back Chapter 25

I will never forget that moment.

Gavin hit the water so fast there wasn’t a second of hesitation.

My sister and I were not far apart.

If anything, she was closer to the shore.

But Gavin swam straight for me, his arm locking around my waist.

“Don’t be afraid. Look at me.”

I was shaking violently from the cold, my ears full of rushing water.

My wolf instinctively fought to shift, but the icy water and my soaked clothes pinned it down.

I could see my sister struggling a few feet away.

Without thinking, I gasped, “Victoria…”

Gavin didn’t let go.

Through our mind-link, he commanded his guards, “Second team, rescue her!”

Two guards immediately dove in.

One of them grabbed my sister. The other swam over to help Gavin get me to shore.

Everyone was saved.

No one had to be sacrificed for someone else to live.

When Gavin carried me onto the bank, I was shaking uncontrollably.

He looked even worse than I did, his hair and clothes plastered to him, but his expression was terrifying.

“Call the Healer! Get thermal blankets and hot water, now!”

He barked out orders, wrapping the blanket a guard handed him tightly around me.
