He Stole My Children I Refused His Crown Chapter 32
Later, Elliot and I traveled through many different pack territories.
Two years later, in the northern reconstruction zone, we ran into Celeste.
After the investigation into Redhaven’s illegal army concluded, Alpha Conrad lost his position, and the territory was given to a new Alpha chosen by the pack council.
Because Celeste had helped conceal the weapons factory and participated in spreading rumors, she was stripped of her inheritance rights and all private privileges, then sentenced to long-term supervised labor in the northern reconstruction project.
She was no longer the Alpha’s daughter, surrounded by gowns and cameras.
The cold wind had weathered her face. When she saw us, she lowered her head at once, not daring to come near.
Thoughtfully, I turned to look at Elliot beside me.
He said evenly, “You promised to spare her life. That doesn’t mean she gets to avoid paying for what she did.”
I couldn’t help but smile.
The sun was setting behind the distant, snow-capped mountains.
I tightened my grip on his hand and said softly,
“Thank you.”
