My Fake Death Was The Punchline To His Cruel Joke Chapter 30

On the day the jury delivered its verdict, the first snow of winter began to fall over Providence.

I sat in the courtroom, watching the flakes drift past the tall windows.

The judge read the findings, one by one.

Every defendant who had participated in the planning and filming was found jointly liable for long-term harassment, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Those who had physically restrained me were found separately liable for assault and battery.

They were ordered to pay all of my medical expenses, therapy costs, and legal fees.

But most importantly, the court’s written ruling explicitly defined the ninety-nine videos as direct documentation of a systematic campaign of abuse.

They were not jokes.

And I was not too sensitive.

The moment the verdict was read, the defense table erupted in chaos. One woman burst into tears. Another man pointed at Camille’s empty chair, screaming that she had ruined them all.

Someone else shot back, “You were the first one placing bets! Don’t you dare act innocent now!”

Bailiffs struggled to separate them as they began to shove and grapple with each other.

The reporters’ cameras captured every ugly moment.
