My Family Chose My Sister Over My Love And I Disappeared Chapter 07
Ethan couldn’t wrap his head around it.
“You’re sure it was Sloane? You didn’t mix her up with someone else?”
Sienna sniffled.
“Who else hates me that much?”
“Ethan, you think I’m lying? Look at me. My face is swollen.”
She sent a photo. Her cheek was red and puffy.
Ethan hung up and turned to tell the others.
They panicked and rushed back to Sienna’s hospital.
Sienna was sitting up in her gown, and the second they walked in, she threw herself into Ethan’s arms.
“Ethan, you’re finally back. You have to take my side on this.”
“I know she hates me, but how could she go this far? My baby…”
Diana leaned in, all sympathy.
“It must hurt so much. My poor girl.”
Julian’s fists tightened.
“Sloane crossed a line this time. If she were standing here right now, I’d teach her a lesson.”
Madison patted Sienna’s back gently.
“And to think we were just worried sick about her. Meanwhile she was doing this behind our backs.”
Richard’s face twisted.
“From this day on, we don’t have that daughter. She is not welcome in the Carter house. Ever.”
Sienna let a small, satisfied smile flicker across her face, then turned back and clung pitifully to Ethan.
“Ethan, I’m scared.”
“What if my sister is evil enough to actually kill me and the baby?”
“Promise me. Until the baby is born, you’ll never see her again…”
Slap.
Before she could finish, a hand cracked across her face.
Ethan was shaking with rage.
“Sienna. You’re still putting on an act.”
Everyone froze.
Sienna cupped her cheek, stunned for two full seconds, then burst into loud, ugly sobs.
“Ethan, you hit me?”
Diana shoved Ethan back.
“Ethan, have you lost your mind?”
“Sienna is carrying your child! Do you have any heart at all?”
Richard’s face was red with fury.
“Ethan, what the hell are you doing?”
Julian shoved his sleeves up, ready to swing, until Madison held him back.
Ethan didn’t bother explaining. He just pulled up the flight screenshot his friend had sent him.
“Sienna. Sloane left the country in the middle of the night yesterday.”
“So tell me. How did she hit you today?”
