My Family Stole My Run I Returned A Leader Chapter 33

“Morningwatch is preparing to establish an independent research group.”

“The committee unanimously recommends you as its lead.”

I flipped to the last page.

Responsibilities, authority, term of service—everything was laid out clearly.

No one had chosen me because I was someone’s daughter.

And no one was asking me to first prove I was obedient enough.

I picked up the pen and signed my name.

“I accept.”

Lena smiled beside me.

“Then we have to celebrate.”

“There’s one more thing.”

She slid another invitation over to me.

“Tide Coast’s full moon beach run this year needs a wolf-form safety support team.”

“The joint committee invited us.”

Tide Coast.

I looked at the familiar place name and was quiet for a few seconds.

Four years ago, I had made a detailed travel plan for this place.

It had been filled with everyone else’s preferences, without a single entry for myself.

“Are you going?” Lena asked.

I slipped the invitation into my folder.

“Yes.”

This time, I didn’t need anyone to take me to see the sea.

On the night of the summer full moon, the wind at Tide Coast was light.

I arrived with the Morningwatch support team at dusk.

The public registration table still stood at the beach entrance.

The staff member asked me,

“Family moon run or team moon run?”
