Reborn To Reject My Regretful Mate For The King Chapter 24

For the first time, Evelyn looked panicked.

“Camille, I’m not trying to hurt you.”

“I just wanted what you have—safety, wealth, a protected life.”

I looked at her, my expression cold.

“Revoke her access to all Royal and Pack public networks.”

“Transfer her to a high-security medical detention unit and place her on a long-term sedation protocol that suppresses her shift.”

“Let her live, but never let her use anyone’s voice to build her lies again.”

Evelyn’s eyes filled with tears.

When she realized I wouldn’t change my mind, rage finally broke through.

“Why are you so cruel?”

“Why do you get the happy ending in both lives?”

“In the last life, I was the one who married Gavin. After he found out I gave Magnus his location, he killed me himself.”

“So why do you get to stand by his side and return to Royal Castle?”

A stunned silence fell over the chamber.

Gavin let out a cold, humorless laugh.

“So you do remember.”

“In our last life, you sold my location in exchange for Magnus’s protection. I don’t keep traitors. That has nothing to do with fate.”

When he finished, he took the terminal from my hands and personally confirmed the detention order.

As the Royal Guard led Evelyn away, she was still screaming my name.

But Gavin took my hand and led me, step by step, onto the dais before the throne.

In front of the entire Royal Council, he signed a new royal authorization.

I was formally named Crown Regent, to exercise supreme governing authority until his injuries healed.

He leaned close to my ear, his voice so low only I could hear.

“My legs cannot yet bear the weight of public affairs, and few people know your past.”

“From this day on, you represent only the Crown. You no longer represent the Parker name.”

“Rule in my name, Camille.”

“Even if, at first, you are only my puppet.”
