The DNA Test That Backfired Chapter 05
The relatives all began talking at once.
“I always thought that child didn’t look like a Marino…”
“My God, this is just too much.”
“To marry into the family with another man’s child… if that’s true, this is a very serious matter.”
Camille’s eyes immediately reddened, and she looked as though she’d been dealt a great injustice.
“Mr. Marino, Mrs. Marino, everyone.” She took out a handkerchief and dabbed at the corner of her eye.
“I’m bringing this to light today for the sake of the Marino family.”
“An outsider brought a child of unknown origin into this home, lived here for three years, and enjoyed the best of everything.”
“If word of this gets out, what will become of the Marino family’s reputation?”

“You wanted to plant this child inside the Marino family.”
Zane finally spoke.
He still wouldn’t look at me, his eyes fixed on the tabletop, but his words echoed hers.
“Arlette, did you… did you plan this all along?” He swallowed hard.
“You deliberately married into this family with him.”
“You used him to tie me down, and then you planned to take the Marino family’s money…”
