The Don Bows Only To His Curvy Crush Chapter 11
The Lights Off, The Truth On
The door clicks shut behind us.
Dante reaches for the light switch. I catch his wrist.
“Leave it off. I’m — I don’t want you to see me.”
He’s told me everything tonight. But it still doesn’t erase six years of thinking my own body was the punchline.
Somewhere deep down, I still can’t believe he ever wanted the girl I used to be.
His hand stops mid-air. He looks down at me for a long second. Then, low, “Okay.”
The dark goes warm.
His fingertips brush across my forehead. He tucks the hair off my face and pins it behind my ear.
His mouth follows. A kiss on my hairline.
“Your forehead’s beautiful.”
The kisses drift lower. To the corner of my eye.
“Your eyes too.”
The bridge of my nose. My cheek. My earlobe.
“Bella. I love you.”
His breath is hot behind my ear.
I swallow hard.
The next second his mouth finds mine and the world tilts off its axis.
I don’t remember how we got to the bathroom or how the kiss dissolved my knees.
I only remember his hand catching the small of my back as I landed on the bed.
Dante leans over me.
His palm settles at my waist, warm and steady. “First time didn’t go so great.”
“But I’ve spent the years since watching a lot of videos. Learned a few things. Bella — you wanna try?”
Turns out Dante Moretti is a top student in every subject he takes on.
Honestly, the first time, back then — I never thought he was bad at it.
But now I have a comparison. And I finally understand — Dante’s personal bar for “not bad” is a lot higher than most men’s.
Every time I go boneless and try to crawl away, his hand closes around my ankle and pulls me back.
“Baby. Getting full and forgetting the man who fed you — not a good habit.”
The night stretches out.
By the end I’m shaking, drenched in sweat.
Dante lifts me up and carries me into the bath.
The water breaks in circles around us, then wider circles, then wider — sinking, along with the night itself, into something quieter.
