The Prince Let Me Die Now He Begs For My Love Chapter 18
“I once had feelings for Adrian.”
“We only contacted each other through anonymous letters. I didn’t want to be the Crown Prince’s wife, so after I learned his identity, I didn’t tell him I was the one writing to him.”
“But now he’s recognized me.”
“I’m afraid he’ll hurt you, so I want to cancel the engagement and leave the capital for a while.”
I paused.
“You didn’t want to get married in the first place. This outcome suits you perfectly.”
Gavin lowered his eyes and listened in silence.
There wasn’t the slightest expression on his handsome face.
I’d said everything I needed to say.
As long as I returned the engagement gifts from both sides, I wouldn’t owe him anything.
I told him to take care and turned to leave.
But suddenly, he grabbed my wrist.
Gavin yanked me hard into his arms, lowered his head, and kissed me, then bit me without the slightest mercy.
The sting brought tears to my eyes.
I raised my leg and kicked him.
The moment we separated, he pulled me back again.
Gavin smiled dangerously.
“Keep kicking.”
“You want an engagement, then you want to cancel it. You’re really something, Vivian.”
“Are you in such a hurry to piss me off so you can inherit my shares early?”
Gavin refused to cancel the engagement.
