The Prince Let Me Die Now He Begs For My Love Chapter 24

After everything was settled, Queen Helena personally suggested moving up Gavin’s and my wedding.

We planned to leave the capital after the wedding and move to Westport in Seabrook Pack territory.

It lay close to both the great river and the bay, and it was Mercer Logistics’ most important port base. Gavin had already secured long-term residence permission from the local Alpha and would be able to manage the business from there.

All my life, I had only ever lived between Cedarbrook territory and the capital.

I had accepted endless rules and walked every path laid out for me, yet I had never truly seen the world beyond them.

Just thinking about Westport made me so excited I couldn’t sleep.

The night before the wedding, Queen Helena suddenly asked me to come to Royal Castle.

She looked utterly exhausted.

“Adrian has lost control.”

“He left the Crown Prince’s wing and knelt before King Cedric for an entire day.”

“He said that if you won’t marry him, then he’ll voluntarily give up his place as first heir and all royal duties.”

She took my hand.

“Don’t worry. King Cedric and I will never agree to such an absurd bargain.”

“But for the sake of the friendship your mother and I have shared for so many years, please, help me talk some sense into him.”

Silently, I walked into the private hospital room in the royal medical wing.

Queen Helena had been right.

Adrian had already lost his mind.

The Royal Healer had given him medication to suppress his wolf form, and his wrists had been secured to reinforced restraints at the bedside to stop him from hurting himself again.

The moment he saw me, he lunged forward without a thought.

The restraints snapped taut.

He stared at me with bloodshot eyes that looked almost frightening.

“My Queen…”

“How dare you marry someone else behind my back?”

I closed my eyes.

From the instant I heard he had lost control, I knew why.

Adrian remembered the previous life, too.
