The Unsent Appeal Chapter 14

The Unsent Appeal Chapter 14

Allison didn’t answer.

She wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth with one finger and smiled coldly.

“I just want everything to go back to the way it was.”

She looked at my parents.

“If you don’t want people attacking you anymore, then publicly cut ties with Chloe.”

“From now on, you only support me.”

“Impossible.” Dad pushed himself up from the couch.

He snatched Allison’s phone and car keys, then grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to the first-floor bedroom.

“You’re staying in here tonight.”

“We’ll talk again when you’re ready to apologize to Chloe.”

He shoved her into the room and slammed the door.

“Until then, your mother and I will not forgive you.”

My parents told Tyler to delete all the videos immediately and shut down Allison’s account.

But it was too late.

The videos had already been saved and reposted across multiple platforms.

Some of the more emotional commenters had started attacking me, too.

Dad’s fingers shook as he dialed my number again.

This time, I answered.

“Chlo, it’s Dad.” His voice was urgent. “I’m sorry.”

“I was wrong.”

“But we didn’t post those videos. We never wanted them online.”

Mom snatched the phone from him.

“Chlo, Mom admits it, too—we neglected you.”

“But none of us ever wanted to ruin your life.”

For the first time, Tyler used my family nickname.

“Chlo, I owe you an apology, too.”

“Can you post some kind of statement?”

“Mom and Dad are afraid to even go outside.”

“It’s not like I always hated you.”
