I Was The Perfect Queen But He Forgot My Name Chapter 28

“That’s the dress I had made for Genevieve. Why are you wearing it?”

His Alpha pressure leaked out, and every wolf around us went still.

Iris repeated her earlier explanation.

“I didn’t mean to. I’ll take it off and return it to her right now.”

“No need. Anything you’ve worn can’t be given to Genevieve.”

There wasn’t a trace of warmth in Julian’s voice.

“And one more thing. In formal settings, use my title. You no longer have the right to call me by my name.”

At last, Iris understood what had happened.

“You got your memory back?”

Julian didn’t answer.

“The royal family will give you enough money to live on. You can return to the Willow Creek pack or accept whatever housing the apartment director arranges for you. But from today on, the royal family’s private areas are closed to you.”

Tears spilled down Iris’s face.

“I saved you. You said you wouldn’t treat me badly.”

Julian fixed his gaze on her.

“If I had been wearing ordinary field clothes instead of a uniform marked with royal patterns, would you still have taken me home?”

Iris couldn’t answer.

“Your father wanted to treat my memory loss. You stopped him. Do you think I don’t know that?”
