Kill Him Nine Times Chapter 19

Kill Him Nine Times Chapter 19

A group of bodyguards stormed into my tiny apartment.

Leading them was a middle-aged man with a booming voice.

“Search the place. The young master said she lives here.”

The room was so small it could be taken in at a glance.

They tossed my cheap belongings everywhere.

Every cabinet was thrown open.

I wasn’t there.

Someone checked the balcony.

There were only a few clothes hanging there. No one.

Meanwhile, I was pressed flat against the outer wall, my feet braced on the air-conditioning unit.

If my foot slipped, I’d fall seven stories and die on the spot.

They couldn’t find me inside.

Then I heard the man in charge say, “The lights are on. She can’t have been gone long. Split up and search the complex.”

“The young master said once you find her, beat her to death.”

The footsteps gradually receded.

Standing on the air-conditioning unit, I let out a quiet sigh.

“Right now, I really can’t do anything. The DeLucas have too much money and too many men. I’m no match for them.”

At last, the system breathed a sigh of relief.

“So you finally understand. I told you from the start to focus on winning him over, but you wouldn’t listen.”

I made a small sound of agreement and said patiently, “Fine. I’ll go find him now.”

“Just tell me where he is. I have to see him if I’m going to make him fall in love with me, right?”
