The Stolen Savior: He Loved The Wrong Sister Chapter 10
Inside was a single micro camera and a note.
The note didn’t overflow with love. It held only one weary request: “The truth about Snowball’s poisoning is inside. Since I helped you find the truth, please delete that video.”
Lucian frowned. He wasn’t used to Nora’s cold tone. In his memory, Nora loved him so much she’d lost herself completely. She’d obeyed his every word. She’d willingly given him everything she had.
She should have filled that note with declarations of love, or at least resentment. But she’d left neither love nor hate—only a cold, distant request.
Lucian felt as though a piece of his heart had suddenly gone missing.
He took a deep breath, forced down the strange feeling, and connected the micro camera to his laptop.
First, he’d see what this “truth” Nora mentioned actually was.
The footage began to play. The living room came into view.
At first, everything was normal. But soon, Camille’s figure appeared on screen.
She carried Nora’s clothes into the living room and quietly wrapped two meat bones inside them. Once the bones were wrapped, she crept over to Snowball’s dog bed and dropped the bundle right beside it.
Lucian’s eyes went wide. For a moment, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
The person who poisoned Snowball was Camille?
How was that possible? Ten years ago, Camille had risked her life to save Snowball from the fire. She was so kind, so gentle with animals. Why would she hurt Snowball?Â
