My Guardian Married My Sister But I’m His Alpha Chapter 74
A month later, Nightfall held its formal Alpha confirmation.
The main hall of the Pack House was full.
As the acting Alpha who had stabilized the Pack, Griffin had the strongest support.
Her grandfather had sought Chiara out before the ceremony.
“You can keep the Moretti seat,” he’d said. “Let Griffin remain Alpha. If you two marry, you will still be Nightfall’s Luna.”
Chiara looked at him.
“When I refused Tucker, you said the Moretti bloodline couldn’t be left unsecured.”
“Now that I’ve reclaimed my inheritance, you want me to become Luna through marriage.”
“Grandpa, in your eyes, will I always need to marry a man to have a place at this table?”
His face darkened.
“Running a Pack is not a child’s game.”
“That’s why I’m standing for confirmation.”
“If I lose, I will accept it. But if I win, I won’t need a husband to sit in that seat for me.”
When the confirmation began, Griffin was the first to step onto the witness platform.
He removed the acting Alpha insignia.
Everyone expected him to request his formal appointment.
Instead, he set the insignia on the table in front of Chiara.
“I nominate Chiara Moretti.”
A murmur swept through the hall.
Her grandfather’s head shot up.
Griffin didn’t look at him.
“She is the lawful heir of our former Alpha. She unsealed the Alpha archives, reclaimed the Moretti seat, and personally saw through the prosecution of Anthony Russo and the implicated elders.”
“For the last three years, I protected Nightfall for her.”
“From today on, Nightfall itself should decide if it wants to return the Pack to her.”
Confirmation was not a gift.
Every member with voting rights had to place their choice on the oath stone, marked with their wolf-scent.
The first light appeared.
Then the second, and the third.
Her grandfather’s vote did not go to Chiara.
But by the time the final vote was cast, the result was clear.
Chiara Moretti had the support of more than two-thirds of the Pack.
She walked to the witness platform.
Her father’s black wolf insignia, polished bright, was pinned over her heart.
“The Nightfall Pack confirms Chiara Moretti as its Alpha.”
As the words fell, Chiara’s wolf fully uncoiled.
A powerful, pure bloodline pressure emanated from the center of the hall.
Not borrowed from Griffin. Not borrowed from Sterling.
It was her own.
Griffin stepped back from the platform and bowed his head to her.
Just like every other member of Nightfall.
