My Guardian Married My Sister But I’m His Alpha Chapter 75

My Guardian Married My Sister But I’m His Alpha Chapter 75

Chiara’s first act as Alpha was to revise Nightfall’s marriage alliance protocols.

From now on, any courtship, marriage, or Pack affiliation change had to be signed in person by the individuals involved and confirmed before the oath stone.

Family, elders, and Luna candidates would no longer have the right to consent on behalf of another.

When the decision passed, her grandfather was not in attendance.

He resigned his proxy seat in the Moretti family, retaining his elder status but losing any authority to vote for Chiara.

He never apologized.

Chiara never expected him to.

Some people would go to their graves without admitting they were wrong.

Taking back her own voice was enough.

Three months later, Anthony’s criminal trial began.

The purchase records her father had left, the Pack treasury transfers, the warehouse signatures, the testimony of the bribed worker, and Anthony’s own confession before the Council formed an unbreakable chain of evidence.

He was convicted of murder and multiple financial crimes and sentenced to life in prison.

Francesca did not return for the sentencing.

She mailed a written statement from Europe, limiting her testimony to what she had witnessed and not adding a single word in her own defense.

The three elders who had taken Anthony’s money were permanently expelled from the Pack.

The frozen funds were restored to the treasury.

Riverbend Pack also issued a public statement, withdrawing all objections concerning Chiara.

Tucker Sutton was never seen in public again.

Everyone who had gathered in that chapel and demanded she prove she had never consented could now see the truth, written in the official records of the Pack Registry.

Chiara Moretti had never accepted Riverbend’s courtship.

After the trial, Griffin waited for her outside the courthouse.

He wore no Alpha insignia, just a simple black coat.

“Is it over?” he asked.

“It’s over.”

He reached for her hand, then stopped, hesitating.

Chiara took his hand first.

“Let’s go home.”

By home, she meant the Pack estate.

But this time, home was no longer a house where someone else decided her place.

It was the place she had taken back with her own two hands.
