She Framed Me As Unfit So I’ll See Her In Court Chapter 18
The next morning, my lawyer asked whether I was confirming the meeting.
“I am. But before we meet, she has to send you all of her chat records connected to this matter with Sloan—complete and unedited.”
The lawyer didn’t ask why. She passed the condition directly to Beth and added one more line:
“This is your only chance to show good faith in cooperating. Otherwise, we’ll see you in court.”
Ten minutes later, the lawyer shared the messaging interface with me.
Beth had read it.
“typing…” kept appearing on the screen, then vanishing. Once. Twice. More than a dozen times.
She was weighing whether to keep taking the consequences of framing a child and making a malicious false accusation for Sloan, or to tear open their alliance with her own hands.
Forty minutes later, the first screenshot came through.
Then the second. Then the third.
Dozens of chat screenshots poured into the conversation one after another. From Sloan telling her to get close to Maya, to how to avoid the teachers, to when and where to slip the bottle into the backpack—time, place, and wording had all been preserved clearly.
The last thing was a voice message.
The lawyer played it, and Beth’s muffled sobs immediately filled the room.
“Nia, please… I’ll give you everything! I’ll give you all my chats with Sloan! She forced me to do it! She said Maya wouldn’t be hurt, she just wanted the school to see that you weren’t fit to care for a child.”
Then she sent one more line:
“Please, for the sake of the fact that I have a child, too, don’t destroy my family.”
I stared at that sentence and didn’t reply.
When you shoved that bottle into my daughter’s backpack, did you think about the fact that you had a child, too?
