She Framed Me As Unfit So I’ll See Her In Court Chapter 19

The next morning, Beth walked into the law office. Her face was yellowish and waxy, her eyelids so swollen she could barely open them.

The lawyer pushed the papers in front of her and didn’t give her a chance to explain.

“You have two options. Hand over your original phone and sign a statement, cooperating as a tainted witness in the investigation. Or be listed as a co-respondent with Sloan on the restraining order petition.”

Beth’s lips trembled. At last, she broke and handed over the phone.

The chat history had not been fully deleted.

Sloan had instructed her when to put the alcohol in Maya’s backpack, sent her the fake sexual ad site and the copy for the post, and told her to isolate me in the parents’ group and encourage the others to report me to CPS.

“Caleb will take care of everything. You just do as you’re told.”

The lawyer connected the device, exported the raw data, generated a hash value, and made two backup copies.

On the screen, two lines stood out with brutal clarity.

“Use the smallest kind of vodka bottle. It’ll look like she drank it herself.”

“Relax. A broke woman like her can’t afford a lawyer. Even if she calls the cops, they’ll just treat it like a family dispute.”

The lawyer unplugged the cable and placed the witness statement confirmation in front of Beth.
