He Cheated With My Friend My Parents Helped Chapter 27
The moment Sienna saw Gabriel, she shook off the security guards.
“You followed me?”
“My lawyer told me you were coming to find Mags again.”
Gabriel walked into the lobby, but he kept his distance from me.
“Sia, it’s been over between us for a long time. Even if Margot was never in the picture, I still wouldn’t have married you.”
Sienna stared at him, tears still clinging to her lashes.
“So you’re finally telling the truth.”
Then she turned back to me.
“Did you hear that? You weren’t the only one he lied to.”
I looked at her, my expression unchanged.
“That still doesn’t make you a victim.”
Sienna’s lips trembled. She opened her mouth to argue, but no words came out.
Security once again asked her to leave. As she passed Gabriel, she slammed her shoulder into his.
He didn’t flinch.
Only after the main doors closed did he look at me.
“Mags, I’m sorry. I’ll make sure she never bothers you again.”
“Whatever happens between you and her has nothing to do with me.”
“I know.”
He just stood there.
My presentation was in ten minutes. I turned toward the elevator, and he called out behind me.
“Can I come in and listen? I won’t bother you.”
“No.”
The elevator doors opened.
As I stepped inside and pressed the button for my floor, I saw Gabriel still standing in the lobby, the last flicker of hope in his right eye slowly dying out.
That night, when I returned to my apartment, the property manager was waiting for me.
“Ms. Archer, someone was asking for your unit number at the garage entrance. The front desk refused, but he won’t leave.”
