He Locked Me Out Now He’s Begging Me Back Chapter 53

That evening, Daniel showed up outside my condo building.

The front desk called while I was in the kitchen washing a mug.

“There’s a Daniel Morgan here asking to see you.”

“I’m not seeing him.”

A pause on the line.

“He refuses to leave. He says this concerns a child.”

The same line, again.

As long as Noah was involved, they assumed every boundary would simply dissolve.

“Tell him if it’s important, he can contact my lawyer.”

I hung up.

A few minutes later, Daniel texted.

“Tessa is getting attacked from every side now. Parents from Noah’s school saw the post, too. Please, take down your public response.”

I replied: “Tell Tessa to issue the public correction first, exactly as required in the legal letter.”

“She won’t. She says that would be admitting she lied.”

“She did lie.”

He called again.

As soon as I answered, he said, “You’ve already gone far enough by posting my private texts with her. If you keep pushing, she’s going to fall apart.”
