He Locked Me Out Now He’s Begging Me Back Chapter 55
Daniel really did make a post.
He admitted that he had agreed, without my knowledge, to let Tessa stay through the school year.
He admitted that he had set the lock permissions himself.
He admitted that I had never agreed to give up the master bedroom, the study, or the house equity.
At the end, he wrote:
“The sale of the house and the divorce are the result of my long pattern of deception and my disregard for our joint ownership. Please stop contacting Claire’s company, and please stop attacking her in the name of a child.”
Less than half an hour after the post went up, Tessa appeared in the comments.
“So now it’s all my fault? You’re the one who said you’d handle her.”
Daniel replied, “I took responsibility for my part. You need to take responsibility for yours.”
“If you hadn’t told me the house would go to Noah someday, I never would have moved in!”
“I never said the house would go to Noah. Claire’s name was always on the deed, too.”
“You said she was soft! You said once I moved in, she would eventually agree!”
Back and forth they went, exposing in public the plans they had once kept private.
I didn’t join in.
I simply forwarded the page to my lawyer.
The next day, Daniel’s mother called, too.
