He Signed My Freedom Now He Wants Me Back Chapter 36
Two days later, Highridge held an internal hearing over Vivian’s actions.
She stood in the main hall of the pack manor, clutching Lucian’s sleeve.
“We’ve known each other for twenty years. You can’t do this to me over one misunderstanding.”
Lucian had the guard footage brought up.
In it, Vivian pinched Iris and put sedative herbs into the children’s milk to make them sleep early so she could go to a banquet.
Her face went white.
“You were spying on me?”
“The guards protect Highridge’s pups, not your secrets,” Lucian said coldly.
Clara testified at the hearing.
She said that from the very first time Vivian entered the pack manor, she had used sweets, toys, and exemptions from training to turn the children against me.
“She told Noah that Luna didn’t let him have candy because she didn’t love him. She also said that if the two of them drove Luna out, then they could become a real family.”
Lucian ordered the old staircase surveillance footage brought up.
In the recording, Noah and Iris pushed me down the stairs.
And Vivian, who had walked in with Lucian just after, had clearly seen everything—yet said nothing while the children lied.
