His Lesson Killed My Mother Now He Will Pay Chapter 36
That night, Sloane did an interview with a small online media outlet.
With her accounts banned, she was reduced to livestreaming to fewer than a hundred viewers.
“Nora has always had violent tendencies,” she declared. “She shoved me into the corner of a desk in Graham’s office and injured me. Graham only suppressed the security footage to protect her.”
The video was sent to me almost immediately.
After watching it, Aisha said only, “She picked the one piece of evidence that hasn’t been made public.”
“The security tapes still exist?”
“They do. Once the preservation order took effect, no one could delete the original files.”
The next day, the office surveillance footage was submitted as supplemental evidence. Less than two hours later, the media had a copy from the public docket.
There was no audio, but the video said more than enough.
That day, Graham was the one blocking the door, stopping me from leaving. The person I shoved aside was him. After that, I went straight for the exit. I never touched Sloane.
Sloane, meanwhile, retreated with her arms folded and backed toward the desk.
First, she looked up to confirm the camera’s position.
Then she deliberately swayed backward and clutched her waist, pretending to have hit the corner.
But the spot she was holding was a full arm’s length from the desk.
As Graham turned to go after me, she even lowered her hand and gave the camera a contemptuous smile.
The interview was deleted that night.
But the screen recording had already spread everywhere. The small outlet that had aired her story released a statement admitting it had failed to verify her claims.
Later that day, Sloane’s lawyer filed an appeal of the class-action judgment.
This time, there was no mention of me shoving her into a desk.
Her new story was that she had been a scapegoat for the Vale family from beginning to end.
