I Gave The Prince To My Sister And Found My True Mate Chapter 20

“Where is Audrey?”

His voice shook in a way even he didn’t seem to notice.

Rosalie did not answer.

Lucian pushed past her and strode into the residence.

Helena was standing in the reception hall, her face pale, her eyes darting away again and again.

“Where is Audrey?”

This time Lucian’s shout made the glass tremble. The Alpha pressure spilling out of control forced every lower-ranking wolf around him to bow their heads instinctively.

Helena braced herself against a table, trembling as she said, “Audrey already married Commander Warren yesterday. She left with the northern convoy.”

Lucian went rigid where he stood.

It was as if every sound in the world had vanished.

He spun around violently, tore the ceremonial flower from his chest, and hurled it to the ground.

“Impossible!”

He rushed out the front door, snatched the car keys from a guard, and drove off alone in a royal SUV.

“Lucian!”

Rosalie gathered her skirts and ran after him.

The wind blew back her veil, revealing her carefully made-up face.

Crying, she shouted, “Don’t go! Today is our wedding!”

Lucian acted as if he hadn’t heard.

The SUV had already shot through the territorial gates.

Rosalie chased after it for several steps, but her high heel caught the hem of her gown, and she crashed heavily onto the center of the red carpet.

Her veil fell away, pearl hair ornaments scattering down the steps.

She sat there in a heap, tears ruining her makeup. Live cameras from all over the country were trained on her, and the Pack members around her looked on as if they were watching a public farce.

Lucian never looked back.

He drove north like a madman, with only one name left in his ears.

Audrey.
