I Gave Up Treatment Not Them Chapter 07
I didn’t care about the curses she hurled at me.
Even though I hated her, there was nothing I could do to her now.
It wasn’t until the next day that Mom and Dad seemed to suddenly remember my things were still piled up in the utility room.
But when they opened the door, they found everything inside was gone.
Jacob looked in disbelief. “Did Sarah come back?”
Tears flowed once again from Mom’s red, swollen eyes. “She burned everything she treasured. She must be so disappointed in us, that’s why she left us nothing.”
Perhaps it was the mother-daughter bond; she really did understand me.
When I destroyed everything I owned while I was alive, I wanted to completely cut off all ties with them.
For several days in a row, they were immersed in the grief of my passing and barely left the house.
It wasn’t until the seventh day after my death that Julian showed up at our door.
Victoria was already annoyed because they were listless all day and ignored her.
Seeing Julian now, she was about to go over and whine to him, but to her surprise, Julian slapped her across the face.
Victoria looked completely stunned. “Julian? How could you hit me?”
Julian just sneered and slapped her again with the back of his hand. “Still pretending? After all the vicious things you did to Sarah, hitting you is letting you off easy.”
Hearing him say this, Mom and Dad, who had been ignoring everything, suddenly looked up at him.
“Julian, what do you mean by that?”
Jacob asked urgently, his eyes red, “What did she do to Sarah? Do you know something?”
Victoria said with teary eyes, “Julian, what exactly did I do wrong? Why are you treating me like this?”
Julian ignored her and instead took out his phone to play a video.
It was the video of Victoria leading others to bully me in the restroom back then.
How did Julian find it?
What exactly does he want to do?
Just as I was puzzled, Julian explained, “We’ve all been deceived by this bitch, Victoria. She never genuinely intended to donate her organs to Sarah from the start.”
Before my parents could react, Victoria, her face pale, was the first to refute, “Julian, this video is fake! That’s not me in there!
“I know you’re sad about Sarah’s death, but you can’t slander me like this.”
My parents hesitated. “Julian, is this video real?”
Julian snorted coldly. “If I hadn’t seen the messages you sent to Sarah, I really would have been fooled by you.”
Ignoring Victoria, he turned to explain to them, “I went to the funeral home. Although they had already cremated Sarah’s body, she had left her phone there before she died.”
Hearing Julian mention the phone, Victoria’s body went stiff.
Julian continued, “I couldn’t accept the news of Sarah’s death, so I took the liberty of opening her phone. I never expected to find so many messages Victoria had deliberately sent her, all full of vicious words.
“I started to feel something was wrong, so after I went back, I had someone investigate. I didn’t expect to actually uncover her true colors.
“The person being bullied in this video is Sarah!”
Hearing this, Jacob immediately snatched his phone to take a closer look.
“That’s Sarah. She’s even wearing the necklace I gave her back then.”
You could even hear my agonized pleas for mercy.
Dad kicked Victoria in a blind rage, all traces of his former kindness gone.
“How dare you bully Sarah behind our backs, after we treated you so well!”
Victoria’s eyes flickered, but she didn’t admit to anything.
“There must be some misunderstanding. I didn’t do it…”
But before she could finish her excuses, Julian cut her off. “No wonder Sarah would rather refuse treatment than accept your help when you first showed up. She didn’t want to see us scrambling around for her sake, so she eventually agreed.”
Mom’s voice was filled with regret. “I really didn’t know. Why didn’t she tell us? If she had, we wouldn’t have forced her to accept Victoria’s donation.”
Hearing this, I couldn’t help but argue back in my heart.
I did tell them, clearly. They just didn’t want to believe me.
Dad suddenly spoke up. “No, she did say something. But I thought she was just throwing a tantrum, so I ignored it and told her not to mention it to you…”
Jacob looked at him in disbelief. “Dad! How could you be so blind? Sarah was our family!”
