Kill Him Nine Times Chapter 12

Kill Him Nine Times Chapter 12

On the first day after I sealed the cabin door, I could still hear Matteo inside, pounding on the door and windows like a madman.

I could hear the others complaining, too.

“Matteo, you should have just agreed to her! You had to go back on your word, and now you’ve dragged us into this.”

“Exactly. This whole mess is your fault.”

“This was supposed to be Genevieve’s welcome-back party, and you just had to invite Cosima.”

“She’s not really going to keep us locked up all day, is she? The only thing to drink in here is champagne.”

Genevieve just kept crying.

“I knew I shouldn’t have come back. I should have just stayed in Europe.”

They were all wrong.

I wasn’t planning to keep them locked up for just one day.

By the third day, the people in the cabin were clearly getting more agitated.

Through the window, I saw someone grab Matteo by the shirt and punch him in the face.

“Cosima, I already taught Matteo a lesson for you! Let us out!”

Their pounding on the windows and the door had grown much weaker.

Inside, Matteo had become everyone’s punching bag.

He’d been beaten several times.

His face was so swollen it was almost unrecognizable.

Day five.

I had eaten through all the food on the deck.

If I dragged this out any longer, I’d start going hungry myself.
