My Best Friend My Husband And My Divorce Chapter 11
He looked furious, glaring at me without saying a word.
I ignored him, took the paper bag from the ground, and tried to close the door.
He blocked the door with his hand and forced his way in.
“You haven’t even recovered physically yet. How can you be so willful and discharge yourself? Come back with me right now!”
“Didn’t I tell you to wait for me in the hospital room? Not only did you run around, you even moved all the stuff out of the house. Aren’t you making too much of a fuss?”
I ate my takeout without looking up.
“Since we’re already going through divorce proceedings, of course I need to move out.”
“By the way, the lawyer should have already sent the divorce agreement to your email. Take a look at the property division clause, and if there are no issues, just sign it.”
“Is this really necessary? Just because I defended Zoe and was harsh with you that night?”
He still thought I was just throwing a tantrum.
I didn’t know if he was too confident in his ability to deceive, or if he was certain I couldn’t survive without him.
Probably both.
I suddenly felt extremely tired and didn’t want to waste any more words with him.
“Think whatever you want. Contact your lawyer to go over the documents and sign them.”
But he was completely annoyed and grabbed me forcefully.
“Can’t you be less petty!”
“She’s your friend. She got hurt in our house. I couldn’t just stand by and watch, could I? I just thought you were being too aggressive!”Â
