My Best Friend My Husband And My Divorce Chapter 18
“But you are indeed a mistress. What did Grace say anything wrong?”
“If it weren’t for you, how would Grace and I have ended up going to court today!”
Caleb shouted at her impatiently, without any of his former tenderness toward her.
I watched this scene of mutual attack and found it ironically amusing.
Zoe bit her lip tightly, her eyes full of unwillingness and despair.
She stepped forward and grabbed Caleb’s suit jacket desperately.
“You’re lying to her, aren’t you? I understand you better than anyone. Didn’t you say you loved me in bed? Divorce her and marry me, okay?”
Caleb coldly shook off her hand forcefully, the disdain and disgust in his eyes deeply wounding her.
“I’ve only ever loved Grace. What are you to even be compared with her?”
“Take this money and stay away from our lives from now on. Don’t appear in front of us again! Get lost!”
Zoe trembled all over, her entire being radiating complete collapse and madness.
“You liar! How can you do this!!!”
She screamed and clawed at Caleb’s face with her nails.
Caleb’s handsome face was scratched and bleeding as he dodged awkwardly.
Zoe continued hitting and cursing like a madwoman, finally enraging him.
He backhanded her with a heavy slap, knocking Zoe to the hallway carpet.
“Haven’t you caused enough trouble!”
This slap further infuriated Zoe.
The two wrestled together without any dignity.
It wasn’t until building security called the police and LAPD arrived, handcuffing both of them and taking them away.
