My Fiancé Chose Her So I Chose Myself Chapter 28
After news broke that Travis had been removed, Evan flew to London that same night.
He didn’t have my address, couldn’t get into Northstar’s offices, and couldn’t find me through any pack link.
The next morning, he stood across the street from the building and called the front desk seventeen times.
The head of security brought me the log.
“Do you want us to call the police or file for a territory removal order?”
“Have legal instruct him to leave first. If he refuses, then proceed.”
Ten minutes later, Evan finally walked away.
He sent a long email to my company address.
In the first half, he apologized.
In the second, he asked Northstar to restore GridForge’s original supplier contract.
*Hundreds of employees shouldn’t lose their jobs because of what happened between us. One signature from you could give them another chance.*
He still hadn’t changed.
Three years ago, he told me to get all five suitcases and not keep everyone waiting.
Now he was putting his employees at the front of the email, as if my refusal to approve an unsuitable contract would make me the one harming them.
I forwarded the email to the procurement committee and Northstar compliance.
*Please evaluate according to approved supplier standards only. Do not raise or lower GridForge’s qualifications because of this message.*
The assessment came back a week later.
GridForge could not meet the new payment and delivery terms, nor could it provide a credit guarantee.
